a.  brand new 2006 top of the line Honda Accord / Toyota Camry or similar cars in the same class
b.  brand new basic 2006 BMW 3-series
c.  secondhand  2-3 year old luxury car  ( which if brand new would cost above $45K )
d.  wouldn’t spend that much money on a car

what’s your choice ?

My youngest brother is driving me nuts since yesterday since he got his eyes on a 2003 fully loaded Infiniti fx35 which would fall under choice C above.   He’s probably called me more times these 2 days than he did the past year.   Haha  but of course the money’s with me and he can’t do anything if don’t say Yes.

I just want him to spend more time shopping around… who in the world would make such a big purchase decision on the first day of looking ???   He just came back from Indo 2 days ago (after 1.5 months)  and he thinks he already found "it".

now real picking pictures… we pick some rapsberry too, but there weren’t much of them, it’s already end-of-season for rapsberry..  got picture of yellow rapsberry below.. and then of course the apples.. notice how much apples were wasted on the ground..

just developed the pictures from canoeing trip a few weeks ago….
bought a one-time-use-waterproof-camera at the canoe office…hmmm will never do that again..

here are team blue, yellow, green, and red .. hehe there were more people in our group actually.. some were on kayaks instead of canoes.

oh btw.. this place is called Blue’s Canoe Livery.. it’s just right here in Columbus. We went on the 6 mile trip with Columbus Young Professionals (CYP).  The water was a little calm and it took us 3.5 hours?  to reach the finish.

It’s Kas’ bday today.. she was feeling sad.. thought it would be a lonely birthday.. her husband is out of town on business again… but she didn’t know we were coming !  hehehe  A lot of emotions there.. she even cried hehe..

anyways…  it was a mini potluck ..  girls only.. actually today is our jogging day but we cancelled it for this hehe

For the past 2 years,  I am taking this role as the Communications Lead for the new hires / interns group at work and my job is to send out emails about company or community events to 2 different distribution lists.  The first one is almost 2000 people, which is a list of people within 5 years of service that I get from HR every month. The other mailing list is only about 300 people, and these are the people who signed up voluntarily to receive emails from us.  I know that there are a lot of people ( I’m guessing around 200? ) who are in both distribution lists. 

The previous person in this role always sends out each announcement to both dist list at the same time, so a lot of people would get 2 of exactly the same emails at one time, and he also would do this 2-3 times for 1 event.  So somebody could get 4-6 emails about an event in 2-3 weeks. 

But I got this little pet peeve about spamming others’  Inboxes.  So since I took over, I have made several changes to the process so that people don’t hit the DEL button everytime they see an email from me   Luckily they let me be in charge, so I am free to do whatever haha. 

For the same reason, I don’t like the fact that I can’t choose whether or not to notify people whenever I update this blog.  So for people who gets spammed with Friendster’s notification emails…  this is what you can do :
