I was just browsing yahoo movies and found some currently-playing-movies that look interesting but I don’t have anybody to go see them with
It looks like I’m gonna have to wait till they come out on DVD so that I could download the DVDrip huehehe
1. Corpse Bride
2. Just Like Heaven – *mmm this should satisfy my chick flick cravings*
3. The 40-year-old Virgin
4. March of the Penguins
5. The Exorcism of Emily Rose – gotta see this with my hunny
Coming soon .. I hope to see some of these in the cinemas..

2. Elizabethtown
3. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
4. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
5. Memoirs of a Geisha

and further out … not really my type of movies, but something that yayank would definitely be interested in ..
1. The Myth – Jackie Chan’s upcoming 20 million USD production

2. The Promise – the most expensive Chinese film ever made and features an international cast
drawn from Japan, Korea Hong Kong, and mainland China.

I am so full now.. just had the best meal in a long time
For appetizer, we had Batagor ( I made it ), Risoles ( Yuldi ), Beehoon goreng (Jaime’s mom), and some sushi ( Lois said she made it, but I think she bought it … hmm ). And then the main dish was Kasma’s Chicken Rice .. it’s sooo good !!! .. The soup, the sauce, and the chilli for the chicken rice were all good too. And we finished with Nias’ rice pudding.. Yumm ! Everybody stuffed themselves.
I was planning to go on a diet starting tomorrow.. but I brought home some leftovers (enough for a few days hehehehe).. so I guess my diet has to wait !
I’m past my 2 year contract with Verizon a couple of weeks ago, and now I’m eligible for their "New every 2 years" program, which means I could upgrade to a newer cellphone for free ( well not for all models , but most ).. but of course there’s a catch.. I have to agree to another 2 year contract…
hmmm should I upgrade or not ?
These are the phones that I’m eyeing :
I could any of them but the Motorola E815 ($50) for free if I agree to another 2 year contract.
Without the contract, I would have to pay the full price, which are around $200 each.
But if I break the contract, I would have to pay them up to $175 termination fee… Hmm should I get a new phone or not ? *Yah sebenernya ga perlu sih.. cuma mau keren2an doang heuheuhe*

I think I offended somebody in the morning. I got my car window tinted a few weeks ago, and I was really unhappy with the rear window. The upper part looked bad because of the dot matrix. The color’s uneven and it looked like there are scratches (some of it was my fault). So after a couple trips back to the tint shop, the guy agreed to replaced that upper part with the regular tint film, or the "smoke". What I had before was a Silver, metallic color one, and Yuldi’s car got the smoke and his car looks fine, so I thought maybe it would look better. He gave me a lecture about how it’s impossible to get the result I wanted. He’s gonna do it at no cost but he wouldn’t guarantee anything. He said he’s only agreed to do this to satisfy me, his customer. He’s also told me for the umpteenth times that until today the solution to this dot matrix doesn’t exist yet. He said I could call up any tint shop and they would say the same thing. But .. I, being an internet junkie, of course tried to find as much information as I could about this on the net and I came across a website with tips submitted by window tinter across the country to handle this problem. I printed out those pages and hand it to the guy this morning when I dropped my car off. And he’s like "I don’t need to read those.. I know what I’m doing! I’ve got 18 years of experience.. this is my job" I felt bad at that moment. I just wanted my car to look good. He continued saying that all the professional tinters got these seminars they go to and they got call from the film manufacturer all the time and if there’s such a solution he would know. But after several minutes of telling me the same lecture again, he took those printouts and said that he would read those but he’s sure that he’s seen those many times. … Anyway I picked up my car in the afternoon and it actually looked worse than before !! aaargh well he’s given warning about it, he thought the silver color would actually hide a lot of the unevenness… he said there’s nothing else he could do.. he’s gone beyond the call of duty. …
Besides that… me and Magda went out to lunch with a new Malaysian-Chinese girl at work, Jamie. She’s new in town and she’s bored with Columbus…she’s surprised that there isn’t many Indo or Malay people in town considering there are hundreds of Chinese and Indians here … hahaha
Hmmm what else happened today ya … Gas prices are outrageous! The cheapest regular unleaded is now $3.19/gallon. I don’t know how much the Premium is, I’m guessing about 40 cent more expensive than that.. So the next I need to fill up my tank I probably need 50 bucks ? Gilaaa!!
…. at this time tomorrow I should be on the air flying to Austin
.. can’t wait …
hehe and I already bought a ticket for Thxgiving too :p ..
