random ramblings

Note: I wrote this yesterday but Friendster was down when I tried to post it. At first I changed my mind about posting this entry. But guess what? It just happened again to me today. So annoying when people are not listening to what I said. Aargh!

Do you have one ? I have several. One of them is when I told somebody something but he/she does not have any recollection about it. 

I usually remember if I tell somebody something. ^_^  So if that person asks me about it again and again, deep inside I feel like screaming "Aarrgh I’ve told you THREE TIMES before! How could you forget? @_@

Or sometimes I would have this long discussion about things with somebody, I explain stuff in details, and weeks later that person mention
something contradictory with you’ve informed her. Then when you asked him/her about it, the answer is "Oh really? Well, I didn’t know about it". WELL, I’VE JUST TOLD YOU THIS EXACT THING 2 WEEKS AGO!  Hehehe of course I don’t say that out loud. Just to myself. :p
 
Has that ever happened to you?

If it’s only the 2nd time I don’t feel as annoyed, but sometimes I would get asked the same thing more than twice or three times. I almost couldn’t stand it if this happens. I really want to say "WE"VE TALKED ABOUT THIS TWICE ALREADY! DON’T YOU REMEMBER?" 

Because of this pet peeve, it’s also annoying for me when somebody tried to tell me something more than once. But in this case, I usually told him/her right away about it. I guess it’s just me. I find that most people don’t mind telling the same thing more than once or being told something more than once. 

Why am I writing about this? Hehe it just happened again just now. At work.

I know we are all human. Of course we forget stuff occasionally. I am not saying that I never forget what I’ve been told or said. I do forget. In fact, ask my boyfriend and he would say that I am usually the one who forgets. Instead of admitting that he forgets when I confront him, he usually says I must have dreamed or hallucinated about telling him stuff. He is SURE that I have never told him and he’d never asked me before =)

I almost forgot that I have this blog .. hehe

Hari ini dingiiiiin buanget, currently 29°F (but feels like 21°F).. malem ini bakal drop ke 14°F brrrr, padahal kemaren anget lho.. around 60’s °F gitu temperature nya

I started the day at 8am sharp, and had 7 hours of training on Measurement System Analysis and Capability Study.  Sounds boring right ?  But surprisingly I enjoyed the class.  I guess I have to start liking all this statistics/minitab/six sigma related stuff as it is my full time job now.

Then I went to the gym and did lower body strength training and 45 mins cardio on the elliptical trainer.  I felt so good afterwards.

I was thinking about whether or not I should go to Purdue this weekend.

ASIMO will have a demo on Saturday.  It looks really cool!  I also need to go to the bank over there to deposit a couple of paychecks. I’ve been carrying around *alotofmoney* in my purse for the past few weeks.  It’s all because of the stupid direct deposit system in my company. I switched bank account a month ago, and because of that they couldn’t deposit my paycheck into my new account right away, so I got 2 checks now that I need to make a deposit. And I think it’s time for me to get a haircut  So, ASIMO + bankOne + haircut @ Renu.  Should I drive 110 miles for those ? 

Well it’s also mpenk’s bday this Friday. But I just found out that he won’t be in town.  Hehe so I guess I can’t go for that reason.

Hmm maybe I shouldn’t go then, since I usually waste a week worth of exercise by eating a lot (of korean food at Hana market) whenever I go there hehe .  Haircut can wait. But I still need to go deposit my paychecks!! ugh!  Maybe I need to make a trip to Greenwood (40 miles from here)  then, that’s where the nearest bankOne is from this tiny little town.

ok .. time to watch American Idol now
